Central Works

Since it's inception, in 1991, my friend Pat and I have had season tix to Central Works, a Berkeley Theater Company whose mission is to enrich the cultural environment of our community through the collaborative development and production of new plays for the theater: centralworks.org/.
  • We write, develop, and produce world premieres, offering our community daring, intimate productions at affordable prices.
  • We bring local theater artists together as partners in the creation and development of challenging new works, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.
  • We think globally, and act locally:  we make plays.
She was the night's photographer (iPhone4S) showcasing what I wore that stormy night to enjoy the current play, Embassy: a very funny, entertaining domestic, diplomatic comedy.  The Julia Morgan, Berkeley City Club is home to the shows.  The architecture alone is worth a visit.  Charcoal hat & black tights: Target.  Old Navy, gray, harlequin design sweater: gift from cousins Kathy & Danielle. Blondo waterproof boots: Walk Shop.   Boho black & pearl button wristies: Molly b.  Movado silver & diamond bracelet watch: Calistoga Outlet.   Red beaded bracelet: gift from cousin Gina.
